Design Development — Tech Pack Creation

No tech pack? That is how most brands start.

Nearly everyone who messages us sends a photo of something they like and says they don't have a tech pack. That is not a problem to solve before you talk to us — it is the first thing we do for you. Send the reference, we turn it into a specification a factory can actually make.

From a reference

₹2,500

about $29 · plus GST

You've seen something you like and want it made. We turn it into a specification a factory can work from.

You send: A photo, a link, or a screenshot of something similar

5 working days · 2 rounds of changes

From your sketch

₹4,999

about $57 · plus GST

You know what you want and have drawn it. We interpret it properly, resolve the construction and grade it across sizes.

You send: Your drawing or spec notes

7 working days · 2 rounds of changes

Full design development

₹7,999

about $91 · plus GST

You have an idea but not a design. We develop options with you, then build the tech pack for the one you choose.

You send: A brief, a mood board, or just a direction

10 working days · 3 rounds of changes

No review fee afterwards. Everyone else pays ₹300 to have a tech pack read before we quote a sample. If we made it, that step is already covered.

Dollar figures are indicative, at about ₹88.5 to the dollar. You are quoted and invoiced the exact amount before you pay anything.

What you get, at every tier

The tier changes how much design work happens first. What lands in your hands is the same document either way.

The tech pack is yours. Most brands go straight into sampling with us.

Questions people actually ask

What is a tech pack?

A tech pack is the specification a factory works from. It carries the flat sketches, every measurement with its tolerance, the bill of materials, how the garment is constructed, where prints and labels sit, and how it should be packed. Without one, a factory is guessing — and you pay for that guess in wrong samples.

I only have a photo of something I like. Is that enough?

Yes, and it is how most brands start. Send the photo and we specify it from there. That is the ₹2,500 tier.

How much does a tech pack cost in India?

Ours are ₹2,500 (about $29) from a reference image, ₹4,999 (about $57) from your own sketch, and ₹7,999 (about $91) if you want the design developed with you first. Freelance designers typically charge more and take longer; studios charge considerably more.

How long does it take?

Five working days from a reference, seven from your sketch, ten for full development. The clock starts when you pay, and you get a delivery date in your account.

Is there anything else to pay before I get a sample quote?

No. Normally submitting a design for review costs ₹300, which pays for a person reading your tech pack properly. If we made the tech pack, that is already covered — you go straight to a quote with nothing further to pay.

Do I have to make the sample with you?

No. The tech pack is yours and you can take it to any factory. Most brands stay because we already know the garment by then.

What if the tech pack is not right?

Two rounds of changes are included, three on full development. We would rather fix it on paper than in fabric.
